Goals AI

Right after you connect your data source, AI learns your business goals + KPIs, and proposes curated data workspaces classified by business Domains.

In this module, data is structured so that each Domain (Workspace) contains multiple Goals, and each Goal is tracked by one or more KPIs.

1. Click on this step to see the details of proposed data workspaces

1. Following actions are possible at this step:

   1. Edit name of the Domain, or deselect the domain entirely.

   2. Add, edit or delete Goals

   3. Add, edit or delete KPIs

   4. ⁠Add or edit the Scope for each domain.

Each domain will turn into a separate Data Workspace. Your selection at this step will impact the Scope of tables/schemas in the newly created data workspaces, and its day zero semantic layer.

1. Confirm your changes by clicking 'Create selected workspaces'.

   1. Its possible to skip creating AI proposed workspaces entirely and do it manually at the next step by clicking 'New Workspace' - however this will lose any AI recommended domains and goals and these recommendations cannot be recovered later.

1. Afte the AI sync process and workspace creation is successful, you can find your Goals under Decisions AI > Business Goals. You can filter by Workspace for Domains.
