FAQ
- Can I edit the scope of existing data environment or data workspace, after they are setup once.
No it's not supported to edit the schemas/tables manually. However if you selected the entire database at the step of Data environment scope selection, and a new table is added to that database, it will be automatically updated at the Resync step.
- What is the difference between selecting the scope at Data Environment vs Data Workspace level?
Scope at Data Environment level impacts the scope for sync, data statistics, profiling, query history. This cannot be changed after once its created. In future, additional workspaces can be created as a subset of scope of selected Data Environment.
Scope selection at Data Workspace doesn't impact the other workspaces or environment level.
